The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in London offers classes every day of the week. You can choose a class to suit your level and a time which is convenient for you - morning, afternoon or evening. The schedule of classes is as follows:

Yoga Classes in London
 CLASSES DESCRIPTION
Gentle/Pensioners: Practice of postures, breathing and relaxation for those with limited mobility.
Intermediate: Twelve basic postures with variations, breathing exercises and relaxation.
Intermediate Plus: Intermediate class with a short meditation at the end.
Dynamic Practice: Taught by a Swami or senior teacher, this is an excellent way to take your practice to the next level.
Advanced 1: Twelve basic postures with advanced variations, breathing exercises and relaxation. Practice of headstand required.
Advanced 2: Same as Advanced 1, but 2 hours long.
Introductory
Taster Class:
Free introduction to those new to the Sivananda Centres. Suitable for complete beginners and intermediate students.
New! Community Class: Intermediate class at a reduced price.
Pregnancy: Yoga exercises adapted for pregnancy. It is advisable to begin classes after the first trimester. Contact the Centre for more details.
Kids: Yoga adapted for children. Practice includes postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation, chanting and storytelling. Open to children ages 7 to 12.

Headstand: A drop-in class with emphasis on progressing in the headstand. Open to those who have completed Yoga 3 training or TTC and want to progress in the headstand. This class is not open to beginners or those who have not completed Yoga 3 or TTC. Please note that no exceptions will be made to the above prerequisites.
New! Pranayama: Extended pranayama practice. Suitable for advanced students only.
Satsang: Group Meditation. Consists of 20 - 30 minutes of meditation, 45 minutes of mantra chanting, and a talk on Yoga the philosophy. Open to all.
Special programmes may replace Satsangs from time to time.
